Nerida Hansen is an International Design Agent and Founder of Nerida Hansen Fabrics. As a design agent, Nerida has transacted hundreds of patterns for licensing and sale and has an enviable list of clients including Spotlight, Debenhams UK, Urban Outfitters, Proctor and Gamble, Harrods UK, Camelbak, Hallmark USA, Hobby Lobby USA, Cotton On Group, Annabel Trends and the Stage 2 Apparel group. Although she is constantly learning herself, she knows a thing or two about the Surface Art industry, and can offer great insight into how to successfully sell or license patterns, how to promote and market yourself as a surface artists, how to negotiate pricing and where the customers are. As a mentor in the Surface Art Industry, she is also in tune with helping designers ensure they are industry ready, and offers honest, constructive advice about portfolio standards, digital presence and commerciality. What if I purchase a ticket and then can’t make it? Sorry but all tickets are non-refundable. You are welcome to sell it to someone else What venue is the workshop held at? All venues in each city are to be confirmed, as it is dependent on final numbers. We will notify you in good time, and all venues will be within easy access to CBD of each city Catering? All sessions run over 3.5 hours in morning or afternoon. Water, tea and coffee, as well as a delicious snack will be provided during a 15 minute break. Lunch will be provided for particpants doing both Introduction to Surface Art and Secrets to a Successful Surface Art Career on the same day. If the session sells out will you be running more?
