Distance: 1 km (0.6 miles) •••• A short, easy walk is rewarded with breathtaking views that can sometimes stretch to the coast of Wales. Look too for the buzzards that soar serenely over Taunton Vale, and take in the rolling hills of the Quantocks and Mendips in the distance. This trail is built to the ‘Access for All’ standard, and is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, with regular resting points.

Whether on foot or horseback, experience the ‘people’s path’ for yourself. This trail is well sign-posted, but you will find the surface varies from gravelled paths, to woodland tracks and grassy field edges.
