Last year Illini Radio Group worked with the local community and businesses to present Best of Champaign-Urbana. Our listeners turned out to nominate, vote and support their favorites in the area in a great way. But we also heard the feedback that our great community is much more than the great cities of Champaign and Urbana. To encompass all of our local communities we decided to rebrand for 2021, resulting in the first ever Best of the 217. We are excited to share our 2021 winners, as voted by you, our listeners. This magazine showcases the effort to discover and celebrate the businesses, people, and places we love most. Our listeners and residents are proud of the state and communities they live in and know the area the best. That is why Illini Radio Group continues to deliver a “best of” program to help the community and support 217-area businesses.
