Spotlight on the Favorites: Woods Cove Art Studio & Gallery UNITED NATIONS EDUCATION, SCIENTIFIC AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATION (UNESCO) SENDS NAMM A MESSAGE FOR THE GUITAR MUSICIANS AND INDUSTRY FOR THEIR GENEROSITY AND SUPPORT OF THE CULTURE OF PEACE
The messages were delivered by Joanne Tawfilis, PhD to musicians who are helping to heal the world through the art and culture of music that crosses all boundaries and are “always there” in response to most human and natural disasters, “helping to heal the world”. Of crucial importance now follows the growing numbers of terrorist activities, (Buffalo), conflicts (Ukraine) pandemic (COVID 19) throughout the world. Sending messages ffrom UNESCO Center for Peace and Ambassador Chowdhury through Dr. Tawfilis will certainly honor and congratulate the many musicians and industry personnel that extend their talents in support of the Culture of Peace in so many ways and represent global recognition not just for their generosity and philanthropy, but for educational and cultu cultural contributions as well. Victoria Moore will rotate the Atomic Babylon collection in a permanent space within the gallery dedicated to UNESCO exhibits. New works across her various collections, will be unveiled at First Thursdays ArtWalks, including a collaborative NFT drop with singer Addie Hamilton later this year. Artist Jaceck Lazuka’s piece, "Unlock Your Minds Love" was chosen to be included in the 2022 virtual World Art Day exhibition. World Art Day is celebrated yearly on April 15th. The International Association of Art Critics was founded to revitalize critical discourse, which suffered under Fascism during World War II. Affiliated with UNESCO, AICA was admitted to the rank of non-governmental organization in 1951. Artist, Mia Tavonatti’s “Whales” mosaic was the 1st mosaic to go to the moon and her painting “Migrazione” will also be going on two missions, one on gold nanofiche as part of the Nova Collection, and later on the Peregrine Mission. These missions have been curated and organized as part of the Lunar Codex project created by Canadian Dr. Samuel Peralta. One of the many wonderful aspects of Woods Cove Art Studio & Gallery is that when you find yourself inspired and wondering if you could develop the talents of a true artist... or simply wish to enjoy the experience, they have multiple options for you.
