The Nerve Centre’s groundbreaking SYNC project gives hundreds of young people access to music creation, collaboration, performance, production and mentoring opportunities each year.

set the stage Set the Stage empowers young people to put on and manage their own events in the Nerve Centre, as well as at festivals and other venues across Northern Ireland.
music hothouse Each summer, more than 100 young people are mentored through an intensive music creation Hothouse experience, culminating in a live performance at the award-winning Stendhal Festival of Art.

music legends Regular series in which music legends, such as Steve Vai, Guthrie Govan, and Paul Heaton, share their expertise and amazing journeys in music.
musician in residence Leading jazz musician, songwriter and producer David Lyttle is the Nerve Centre’s musician-in-residence during 2015, acting as a creative catalyst, collaborator and mentor across all music activity.

lessons
The Nerve Centre delivers more than 6,000 music lessons a year in guitar, bass, drums, voice, keys, bouzouki, mandolin and music technology, with accreditation from Rockschool and Trinity School of London.

rehearsal space
Hundreds of bands and musicians from across the city take advantage of the Nerve Centre’s state-of-the-art rehearsal facilities annually.

The Nerve Centre is the premier live music venue in the North West, with a lively programme of big name acts and up-andcoming bands.
Rock giants Kasabian play the Nerve Centre in May 2014 ahead of a headline performance at Glastonbury.
