EILIDH M AC A SKILL WORKSHOP
An intense performance and networking programme designed for practitioners and programmers of theatre for young audiences.
Tuesday 8th March 2016, The MAC, 1.30-4.30pm (£15/ £7) A practical workshop for creative practitioners with artist and researcher Eilidh MacAskill. Eilidh will share her practice and discoveries on feminism, sexuality, queerness and difference, and how these areas connect with performance for children.

A stage adaptation based on the original Bambi novel exploring the meaning of life with humour and poignancy. The production deals with themes about childhood and growing up, about love and friendship, ageing and saying goodbye.
I Think I Can invites the audience to inhabit a delightful miniature town and become active members of the tiny community. Complete a playful ‘Career Test’ to personality-match you with a puppet, a tiny alter ego is yours to be steered through daily life. You will make decisions for, and undertake tasks with your character as the puppetry is displayed on screens surrounding the installation. As more audience members join in, the community grows. The townsfolk’s antics and adventures are shared with the world via an online newspaper.
