Creativity Month is a celebration of creativity and the Creative Industries in the north of Ireland every March. An initiative of the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure, Creativity Month is held to stimulate new thinking and help creative people, creative ideas and creative businesses emerge and flourish. Creativity Month 2015 will showcase the work of a diverse range of organisations, across government, business, education and the community and voluntary sectors, who are developing creative and innovative solutions to societal challenges. LIBRARIES NI CELEBRATES CREATIVITY MONTH March 3-30 - Libraries across Northern Ireland The Libraries NI events programme offers something for everyone, providing an opportunity to participate in many cultural experiences. Events include practical workshops on radio broadcasting, song-writing, script-writing, storytelling and poetry; demonstrations of film and theatre make-up and traditional crafts; as well as author readings, drama and musical performances.

A major project with internationally renowned artist David Best and London-based Artichoke. At over 60ft tall, the structure will dominate the skyline on the Waterside area of the city during its week-long public exhibition before being ceremoniously burned.
