Welcome It’s time to end your summer with a BANG!! The Interact Youth Arts Festival this year continues its growing legacy into a seventh year. During the previous six years InterAct has offered a progressive, innovative, creative and, most importantly, fun youth arts festival, and this year will be no different. With each passing year InterAct has become bigger and better, offering opportunities for young people aged 12-21 throughout the local area and further afield. The Youth Forum have channelled their energies into creating one of the most diverse programmes Northern Ireland has to offer, allowing young adults to challenge and confront such themes as racism, sectarianism and the divisions in our society through their creative and artistic skills. They are able to interact and communicate with a range of activities in the arts, where they can indulge in their passions and forge new friendships with those who share their interests. This year we are packing our schedule into five fun filled days between 24th and 28th August and will include workshops in Dance, DJ Skills, Drama, Music making, animation, photography, costume design, and much more as well as the return of our ever popular Musical Theatre Masterclass with West End Legend Fra Fee. All this culminates at the end of the week with our InterAct Showcase event. As always this is all FREE!!! We are very pleased to be able to continue to offer such a high quality line-up, and this wouldn’t be possible without the support of our funders, sponsors, partners, my festival assistant Megan Kelly, and of course the Millennium Forum and the Youth Forum. THANK YOU and ENJOY!!
