Voice

Monday 1st May – Friday 26th May Admission: Free

VOICE is a collaboration between artists Jane Dunn and Ann O’Mahony Textile is our prime metaphor. Our methodology is to use textile and text to claim a “speaking voice” to express our ideas and concerns. It is our belief that healing of our fractured lives and our world requires true inclusiveness where we as women take our rightful place and an eloquent and authentic speaking part in shaping all our futures. ‘Meet the Artists Day’ - Saturday 13th May 12 noon – 4pm 4

Neal Greig

Wild Spaces Monday 5th June – Friday 30th June

Exploring the language of paint and investigating creativity of the moment are fundamental aspects on Neil’s journey of making a painting. The elemental combination of earth, air, fire and water are his core subject matter, once thought by the ancient Chinese to be the components of a human body. Neil seeks to infuse and overlap these elements in a distillation of paint with musical and poetic comparisons. Neil’s aim is to create a breadth of dialogue in response to a live landscape situation.

Saturday 10th June, 2PM Tickets: £4

A show by Marcello Chiarenza Adapted and performed by Patrick Lynch Music by Carlo Cialdo Capelli Design assistant Elena Marini Ages 6-11 First written down 3000 years ago the Odyssey is the mother of all stories, the ultimate source of myths and legends full of epic battles, floating islands, one-eyed giants, angry Gods and powerful magic. Follow Cbeebies Patrick Lynch as he launches Ulysses and his companions on a fantastic 20 year long voyage to get back home. Miniature worlds come to life on our big screen as we create them out of sand, stones, fire and water. The use of multiple cameras magnifies our table-top puppetry down to the smallest detail and turns a storm-in-a-teacup into an Aegean tempest. We have adapted this epic narration to bring out the fundamental fable that everyone can follow – a thrilling ride across the magical world of ancient Greece to show you that no matter how far you roam, there’s no place like Homer. 18
