Every living thing – in some way, shape or form – evolves and adapts. What I find fascinating, and yet extremely uncomfortable, is how my thoughts, views and feelings change and evolve.

Have you ever noticed older people have a sense of peace, as well as the ability to hold life, judgments and cares freely? I’m noticing this in myself. I’ve always considered myself as having strong opinions and views; being a fighter for those who need someone to stand up for them. I sincerely hope I never lose that fire.

What is most significant in my thinking, which is ever-evolving, is my ability to forgive. I realise this is an absolute key to power, strength and evolution. Without forgiveness of oneself and others, the burden of holding onto a bitter belief corrodes the spirit and mind. Forgiveness, in every sense, is the bravest, hardest, act one can choose.

If I just look at the last 10 years of my life, I started an organic tan company that evolved from the darkness of a disease (a bad melanoma) to just this week creating a not-for-profit foundation called the Miracle Made Foundation. If that is not evolution, I don’t know what is.

Evolution is an extremely painful process, but with the right intention, force and effort, a new life will be birthed and will push generations forward. Once again, I am in a new evolving stage in my not-for-profit foundation, focusing on the slum women of New Delhi who suffer social discrimination and cultural bias. Even if these incredible women were entrepreneurs and had a dream or goal to break out of the cycle of poverty, it would be practically impossible due to the caste system.

So, we are in the beginning stages of creating a Miracle Jobs Program, where these beautiful souls are given a career, wage, purpose and opportunity for financial freedom. From this beginning, we are hoping the Miracle Made Foundation will then train up the teenagers so they too will have a purpose and a future.

Once again, we are on the evolve train.
