router to the modem, but make sure that the modem is unplugged. You have to open your computer and launch the web browser. In the address bar, you have to write http://192.168.1.1, which is the default gateway.

next thing to do is, enter the username and password. Username should be ‘admin’ and password is ‘password’. Now, click on the ‘wireless settings’ and save all the settings on a notepad, as that will be used to configure more clients of the N/W later on. You have to give a name to your Wi-Fi network and select the right channel.
