WHY DID YOU START SWIMMING BARBARIAN?

I started swimming because my parents took me to classes, I always had a connection with the sea, since I was a child. Finally I can say that the water and the sea is my place in the world.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST DREAM?

Finish the 7 Oceans.

My dream is related to swimming and to go down in history, nationally and internationally; showing the importance of persevering and being decisive.

Motivate others to pursue their own dreams. Make a national difference at the sport level.

WHAT HAS IT BEEN TO WIN BEING THE END OF THE WORLD FROM CHILE?

Competing and winning in Europe, being from the end of the world, is a tremendous joy, above all a great responsibility.

To make our country known worldwide, in a certain way as an Ambassador of Chile.

Encourage people to come to know our country, a very great challenge.

We do not have the same support or venues as those in Europe, to be able to train.

WHAT IS YOUR TECHNIQUE TO WITHSTAND THE COLD IN THE WATER?

I learn to adapt to the cold, rather than stop feeling cold, it hurts, hypothermia is a real thing.

You learn to cope in a certain way, it is not something that I overcome, however, I train enough, medical check-up, concentration physically and psychically.

The most important thing is to have determination, purpose, swimming in those conditions many people could not do it.

For me the most important thing and to teach the youngest is to get the best of yourself both mentally and physically.
