p e r fo r m i n g a r t s s c h o o l The purpose of this performing arts school scheme was to generate a lot of interaction within and around the building structure. The main auditorium and classrooms occupy the two largest volumes and are situated at opposite sides of the school. The center volume connects the two spaces and acts as a common space for the students, housing an informal performance space as well as the school’s resource rooms. Additionally, the majority of this building is elevated off the ground to foster connect the two sides of the urban block and thus creating an urban, public space.
