BAUGRUPPE VICTORIASTADT ALI SHERIF & ANDREA BAUTIL
This proposal is derived from site analysis based on attaining views, providing optimal sun exposure and the site-surrounding open space (or lack thereof). By placing one centralized core, the need for circulation spaces is minimized and each unit is pro- vided with at least two sides of natural light exposure and ideal views. The building footprint is reduced to a minimum allowing for maximum volume with minimum surface area, while providing open green space to the neighborhood and giving back to nature.

SECTIONS scale 1:100 BUILDING CORE LIGHTING AND CROSS VENTILATION In order to reinforce the social aspect of our building’s core we incorporated various apertures and openings to the ground floor and roof top that would provide a good amount of natural sunlight and ventilation. A small skylight and light wells above and along the sides of the elevator shaft, in addition to large windows at the top level would allow sufficient light to enter the core. We imagine the elevator shaft to be made of glass with a mesh box that would allow light to filter throughout the stairs and apartment landings.
APARTMENTS LIGHTING AND CROSS VENTILATION Each apartment unit of the building has two orientations which provides dynamic insolation and cross ventilation.
