ATHLETICS Our 24 NCAA Division III athletic teams compete in the Colonial States Athletic Conference and the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference. Softball won the conference championship in 2015-16, five teams finished as the conference runnerup, and 14 teams qualified for postseason play. There are no limits for the Knights. Our teams, however, are about more than a win-loss record. Working with the Institute for Sport, Spirituality and Character Development®, our athletic teams complete community service projects, nights of reflection and leadership training. The integration of the Institute into athletics provides an opportunity for student-athletes to learn, live and embrace the Catholic Franciscan values of the University.
