Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night is full of disguises, mistaken identities, love triangles, and practical jokes. After Viola is shipwrecked, she disguises herself as the man Cesario and gets a job serving the Duke Orsino, with whom she quickly falls in love. Orsino instructs Cesario to help him win the affections of another lady, but she falls in love with Cesario instead of Orsino. Add in practical jokes from a cast of characters and you have a Shakespeare comedy that everyone is sure to enjoy!

The Opera House was built in 1881 and dedicated in 1882 as City Hall housing the mayor’s office, police chief’s office, jail cells, fire wagon bays, and a performance hall. When City Hall was moved to College St., the entire building was remodeled as a performing arts center in 1998.
