Fri-Jado challenges operators to join and save energy with free equipment trial A

s a pioneer of some of the most energy-efficient holding and display equipment appliances, Fri-Jado, has launched a new Energy Saving Challenge to mark the new year. The challenge is an online campaign where operators can request a free trial or receive an energy rebate in return for testing the company’s latest equipment.

Launching in January 2023, the Energy Saving Challenge is aimed at multi-site operators or those who meet the company’s T&Cs and will see the loan of a single appliance on a 90-day free trial. For those already looking for a new display unit or for smaller independent businesses, Fri-Jado is also offering an immediate energy rebate on qualifying purchases. Running through to the end of March 2023, the Europe-wide campaign is designed to showcase Fri-Jado’s range of highly efficient holding and display equipment.

At a time when energy costs continue to spiral and businesses balance overheads and sales in, what for many, is a tough trading period, the opportunity to test innovative, advanced equipment on a limited-time, free trial is likely to appeal. Available across the company’s range of MCC and MDD display units, including stand-alone, pass-through and drop-in units and certain rotisseries, the offer will demonstrate how both retailers and foodservice operators can pay less and save more in their businesses.

Discussing the launch of the Energy Saving Challenge, Gary Thacker, Sales Director at Fri-Jado UK comments:

“Operators are increasingly looking for ways to reduce their business overheads without impacting on the offering they provide to their customers. With hot and cold food-to-go being bang-on trend and often a lucrative revenue source for many, using a sustainable holding and display cabinet can make a significant difference in sales and costs.

The Energy Saving Challenge is our way of giving multi-site operators an opportunity to sample our latest equipment on a 90-day free store trial or claim an energy rebate immediately. The challenge includes our most popular MCC hot and cold, or our MDD hot display series and our TDR rotisserie range.”

The free 90-day trial or energy rebate is available to retail and foodservice operators only. The trial is available in the UK and is based on one unit per business, while the rebate can be applied to a business with up to 24 sites.
