New Craftsman Gallery

Regarded as one of the most important spaces for contemporary artists in St Ives, New Craftsman has an international reputation amongst discerning art and craft collectors for its painting, sculpture and quality studio ceramics. Established in the mid sixties by Janet Leach, the New Craftsman nurtured the reputations of key St Ives School artists such as Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, Bryan Winter, Patrick Heron and Peter Lanyon. It continues to exhibit original work by emerging and established Cornish and international artists and makers.
