UNIVERSITY PROGRAMS Parkland College has the largest off-campus university programs offered by a regional college in Saskatchewan. Arts & Science (Your First Year) Both the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan offer three and four-year programs, leading to either a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree. Applicants wishing to attend the University of Regina or University of Saskatchewan can take their first year of Arts & Science studies at Parkland College. With dozens of options to choose from, the area of Arts & Science is sure to have something that piques your interest. ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES The English for Academic Purposes Program is designed to develop Canadian English language skills of International students desiring to enter into post-secondary studies in Canada. Students will focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and also on study skills for success in a Canadian post-secondary institution. Students will be considered successful in the program when they have achieved a 6.5 IELTS Band Score. Tuition Fee: $ 4000 per semester

CERTIFICATES, DIPLOMAS & POST GRADUATE CERTIFICATES Parkland College offers a number of skills training programs taught by qualified instructors in areas of business, education, health, technology and trades. Parkland College works closely with employers to design programs that meet industry needs. Certificate The majority of the programs start in September; some start in January too. Tuition Fee: $ 13,000 to $ 14,750 per year (Please refer to our website for exact fee structure) The tuition fee includes the cost of the text books. As an international student, you will receive the following support services: • • • • •

Application Process 1. Application – International Students must complete and submit the following: • International student application. • International student application and courier fee. • Official secondary and post-secondary transcripts. • Proof of English language prociency. 2. Acceptance – If accepted student will be issued a formal letter of acceptance. 3. Study Permit –International Students apply for a Canadian Study Permit from www.cic.gc.ca. This process can take up to three months. 4. Tuition Deposit – students are required to confirm their acceptance at Parkland College with tuition fee deposits as mentioned in the Letter of Offer.
