the Spanakopita. The Antipasto is served with prosciutto, speck, ‘nduja sausage, Parmigiano Regiano, feta cheese, fresh ricotta cheese, honeycomb, roasted red peppers, as well as olives. This is a perfect group appetizer! If you are in the mood for something more savory, try the Spanakopita, a Greek savory pie of flaky phyllo dough with warm and creamy spinach and feta cheese filling that truly melts in your mouth.

For entrees, order the Saltimbocca con Pasta Ripieno, Lamb Kebab or the Pizza Picante. The Saltimbocca con Pasta Ripieno is served with a chicken breast topped with prosciutto and Fontina cheese in a marsala sage cream sauce served with Chef’s selection of stuffed pasta. The Lamb Kebab is a must try — served with tzatziki, red pepper puree, grilled vegetables, and Moujadara rice. If you are a spicy lover, the Pizza Picante is to die for, topped with Salai picante, hot Italian sausage, chorizo, roasted garlic, plum tomato sauce, smoked mozzarella, and drizzled with hot red pepper infused honey.

When ordering drinks, you cannot go wrong with the Maple Bourbon Old Fashioned, or if you are a tequila lover, the Mexican Mule. The Maple Bourbon Old Fashioned is served with Redemption bourbon, maple simple syrup, walnut bitters, and topped with a delectable piece of candied bacon. And the Mexican Mule is the perfect spicy beverage, mixed with Ghost tequila, fresh lime, and ginger beer.

Olde Salt House Cohasset, MA

Olde Salt House was constructed in 1760, and today is a modern example of a colonial “warehouse” that was used for storing salt. The restaurant was part of a complex of buildings built by Samuel Bates, which included a wharf that is still used by commercial fishermen today. Now, Olde Salt

House is one of the most popular restaurants on the South Shore, known for its delicious food and drink and stunning waterfront views. Olde Salt House draws inspiration from the surrounding ocean tides and offers all the classic New England flavors that we love right on Cohasset Harbor, featuring a newly refurbished patio that you can enjoy on a beautiful day.

When visiting Olde Salt House, if you are a shrimp lover, you must try the Boom Boom Shrimp. The Boom Boom Shrimp is doused in the most delicious sauce you can imagine – Boom Boom sauce – that is homemade and exclusive to Olde Salt House. The appetizer has both a sweet and spicy taste to it, with the perfect amount of kick to heat things up. After trying this sauce, you are bound to order some extra sides for the rest of your meal! For entrees, try the Cheeseburger or the New Bedford Sea

Scallops. The Cheeseburger is topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, (and a side of Boom Boom sauce, if you choose), and served with a pile of crispy French fries. The New Bedford Sea Scallops are extremely fresh, caught each morning in New Bedford and brought to Olde Salt House to cook up. They are perfectly golden, tender, and buttery.

For cocktails, enjoy the Chocolate Mudslide, the Salt House Mai Tai, or the Royal Gardener. The Chocolate Mudslide is a must while you are on the water, mixed with Tito’s vodka, crème de cacao, as well as Bailey’s Irish Cream. The Salt House Mai Tai is perfect for rum lovers, mixed with Appleton Rum, Plantation White Rum, Curacao, Falernum, Orgeat, and Lime. The Royal Gardener is just as tasty as it is aesthetically pleasing, mixed with Empress Gin, Elderflower liqueur, cucumber syrup, and lemon. In addition to cocktails, Olde Salt

offerings with an infused modern-day twist.

When visiting The Mill Wharf, be sure to start off with the Lump Crab Cake. It is served topped with roasted corn, bacon, and tomato, as well as scallions and served with a corn cream Beurre blanc sauce. For an entrée, enjoy the Mahi Fish Tacos, or split the Prosciutto and Fig Pizza. The Mahi Fish Tacos are served with blackened Mahi-Mahi, roasted poblano slaw, red chili aioli, avocado, cilantro cream, as well as fresh Pico de Gallo. The Prosciutto and Fig Pizza is a pizza lover’s dream – served with caramelized onions, mission figs, prosciutto, gorgonzola, fresh mozzarella, and topped with arugula and drizzled with truffle oil.

For beverages, order the Signature Margarita or the Empress 75. The Signature Margarita is mixed with Lunazul Blanco, Cointreau, lime juice, as well as a sour mix. If you prefer gin, try the Empress 75, served with Empress gin, lemon, as well as prosecco. www.millwharf.com

East Bay Grille

Plymouth, MA

East Bay Grille is located on Plymouth’s

Town Wharf and offers signature New England dining with beautiful water views. The restaurant is known for its outstanding menu — featuring everything from fresh seafood and pastas to choice-cut steaks, savory chowders, salads, and sandwiches. The menu is both classic and contemporary and is complemented with the right atmosphere, in the spacious dining room, lively bar or out on the scenic outdoor patio. East Bay Grille is the perfect place to catch up with friends, have a date night, or have a celebratory meal with family.

Start your meal off with a perfectly curated charcuterie board, served with soppressata, prosciutto, honey ham, gourmet olives, crostini, burrata cheese, a mix of artisanal cheeses, gherkins, as well as seasonal jam. This is the perfect appetizer to split with a group, as it will include something for everyone’s palate. For entrees, enjoy the Chopped Salad or the Wagyu Burger. The Chopped Salad is mixed with romaine lettuce, chickpeas, black beans, red onion, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, as well as a fresh oregano vinaigrette, and is even better topped with steak! The Wagyu Burger is served with char-grilled, hand-packed wagyu ground beef, boursin cheese, a toasted potato roll, arugula, and pickled red onions.

For cocktails, you can never go wrong with an Aperol Spritz with the type of waterfront view that East Bay Grille offers. The Aperol Spritz is perfectly mixed with Aperol, Prosecco, as well as soda water and fresh fruit. Some of my other favorite cocktails include the East Bay Infusion as well as the Huckleberry Lemonade. The East Bay Infusion is mixed with Flavored New Amsterdam vodkas infused with seasonal fruits, and the Huckleberry Lemonade is mixed with 44 North Huckleberry vodka, lemonade, blueberry puree infused syrup, and fresh blueberries.

ON THE SECRET COAST

Private Coastal Waterfront Estate

Little Compton, Rhode Island

The small exclusive community of Little Compton, Rhode Island is in Newport County just seven miles east of Newport, Rhode Island, on Narragansett Bay. It is one of only a few relatively unchanged coastal communities in New England.

During the late 18th and early 19th centuries, many affluent East Coast families built their summer estates along the shorelines here. It is simply one of the most pristine enclaves for coastal living anywhere, and one of the most sought-after as well.

Nearly one-half of all land here is protected land and is in agri-

cultural use. One of New England’s oldest summer community golf clubs, the historic Sakonnet Golf Club, was founded in 1899. The course was redesigned over 22 years, one hole at a time, by famed golf architect Donald Ross who summered in Little Compton. It was finished in 1922, and to this day remains pretty much the same.

Much like the Ross masterpiece, Little Compton has done a spectacular job maintaining its true character. It’s a true gem, hidden away along Rhode Island’s “Secret Coast.”With only 12 miles of coastline, residential waterfront property offerings are very rare as many are part of generational family estates.

Welcome to Ferolbink Way

Little Compton, Rhode Island

Custom Built by Dennis Talbot Builders

This private seventeen-acre estate is located down a private lane to the East Passage of the Sakonnet River. It offers spectacular western sunset views across Narraganset Bay in one of Rhode Island’s most exclusive communities.

Ferolbink Way is a rare first-time offering that affords complete privacy and tranquility for the discerning buyer, with unobstructed water views from virtually every room in this exquisite home. The property includes an expansive 3500+ square foot resi-

dence, 700 feet of waterfront along the river, private beach access, and two additional parcels of land, 11 Feroblink and 21 Ferolbink Way, being sold as an estate package. The possibilities here are endless. It’s a private generational property that inspires great memories to be made.

This classic New England style home was custom designed and built by premier builder Dennis Talbot specifically to provide sweeping unobstructed water views from virtually every room, including the large living room with fireplace, formal dining room, kitchen with cozy eating area enhanced by a gas fireplace, sunroom, den and master bedroom with ensuite bath on the first

FALL 2023 COASTALHOMELIFE.COM 17

floor. Three more bedrooms and a bath are on the second floor. The gleaming hardwood floors, built-in cabinetry and cedar-lined closets in every room speak to the quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail in every aspect of this home. The expansive walkout lower-level unfinished space can be built out for additional amenities areas and potential home gym, wine cellar, theatre room, and entertaining spaces. It offers central heat and AC, as well as a two-plus car garage with loads of storage space.

The large stone patio is the perfect place at the end of the day to unwind and watch the sunset or morning coffee as the boats make their way up and down the river. The second-level mahogany balcony offers the most breathtaking views of all to Narragansett Bay, Aquidneck Island, and the tip of Ocean Drive in Newport, RI, just seven nautical miles away.

This property has endless potential for buyers who are looking for something very rare in the East Bay region of Rhode Island. This is one of the very few places on the Eastern Seaboard where both sunrise and sunsets are incredible.

If you are looking for privacy, and perhaps a family compound, look no further. The current owners have had years of family memories made here with their annual clambakes along the beach and get-togethers to watch the sunset.

Tremendous potential exists for this property.

South Shore

livingin

Magnificent New England Living South of Boston

Southern New England Places

From the South Shore along Massachusetts Bay to Cape Cod and the Island, and across the Southcoast to the Ocean State of Rhode Island, there are truly spectacular communities for living.

In fact, some of the most exclusive and captivating regions of New England are

strewn along its Southern New England coastlines.

These enclaves have become some of the most sought-after places to live along the Eastern Seaboard. With proximity to Boston, Providence, New York, and other northeast metro markets, they have become high-demand locations for living and private

real estate investing.

These regions offer a quality of life that is very special and a sense of celebrated living that is hard to find in city living today. Each region and community have a unique charm and individual characteristics. Here are a few of our favorite southern New England places.

20 COASTALHOMELIFE.COM FALL 2023

The South Shore, Massachusetts MARSHFIELD

This South Shore coastal town is named for the many salt marshes which border the salt and brackish borders of the town. There are three rivers: the North (along the northern border of the town), South (which branches at the mouth of the North River and heads south through the town), and the Green Harbor River (which flows just west of Brant Rock and Green Harbor Point at the south of town).

Marshfield is a historic town with amazing beaches and top-notch restaurants all nestled in an ocean community; in the summertime, Marshfield is the place to be. In addition to soaking up the sun, beachgoers can walk, bird-watch, go clamming, barbecue, picnic, and engage in various sporting activities, such as sailing, snorkeling, and even surfing. There are extensive seaside amenities, and waterfront and water view homes. It is the site of the Marshfield Fair and Levitate Music Festival, both annual events. This is quintessential coastal South Shore living at its best.

PLYMOUTH-REDBROOK COMMUNITY

Redbrook’s story began more than 150 years ago when Abel Makepeace built a cranberry farming enterprise so sizable he was crowned, “The Cranberry King.” In 1930, the A.D. Makepeace Company helped found the Ocean Spray co-op.

For some, the company is better known as an environmental advocate that helped restore a rare trout habitat near here in a stream called Red Brook. Anadromous brook trout, or “salters,” are rare fish that leave salt water for cold, fresh rivers to spawn. Working with environmental groups, the A.D. Makepeace Company cleared the brook of dams and eventually ceased cranberry cultivation nearby, helping the salters thrive.

This community setting is pure Plymouth with lakes, towering pines, cranberry bogs, and vast open spaces. Only 25% of the 1400-acre site will be developed, leaving naturally preserved, protected spaces for living and recreation. The Community has its own Village Green, shops and restaurants, plus a full-service YMCA.

Cape Cod, Massachusetts CHATHAM

Located on the southeastern tip of Cape Cod, Chatham boasts stunning beaches, charming shops and restaurants, and a vibrant community. The town is known for its historic lighthouse, picturesque Main Street, and scenic bike trails. With a population of just under 7,000 residents, Chatham offers a small-town feel with all the amenities you could need. Encompassing a mere 16 square miles of high ground and surrounded on three sides by water, Chatham has a beauty that is unsurpassed. The town is a decidedly maritime place of pristine beaches, wild barrier islands, tidal shoals, fleeting sandbars, circular coves, and miles of saltwater inlets. Laying claim to musician and “American Idol’’ judge Harry Connick Jr., Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum, and a host of Boston elite as notable second homeowners, this beautiful seaside town on the “elbow’’ of Cape Cod is conveniently isolated. Considering that Chatham has four distinct villages within its limits, it’s of no surprise that there are plenty of distinct communities to settle yourself into.

FALMOUTH

The villages in Falmouth include North Falmouth, West Falmouth, East Falmouth, Falmouth Village, Hatchville, Woods Hole, Waquoit, and Teaticket, and where you choose to live is dependent on the lifestyle you wish to enjoy. There are 68 miles of coastline and 95 miles of shoreline, when you take the local kettle ponds into account.

If you love the beach then Stony Beach, Wood Neck Beach, Old Silver Beach, Chapoquoit Beach and Megansett Beach are great. In addition, Bristol Beach, Falmouth Heights Beach, Menauhant Beach, and Surf Drive Beach are on the town’s south end, with almost all having parking and lifeguards.

Since Falmouth is part of the Upper Cape area, it is less than 15 miles from the Bourne Bridge and 20 miles from the Sagamore Bridge so you can get off the Cape in a matter of minutes. This bridge access makes it possible to commute to larger metro centers for work.

The South Coast, Massachusetts MATTAPOISETT

A small seaside village community with about

6,500 year-round residents, Mattapoisett typifies leisure and relaxation. From its harbor on Buzzards Bay, to sandy beaches, to historic homes and cozy restaurants, Mattapoisett offers residents a setting to truly enjoy what living on the water has to offer. Mattapoisett’s harbor makes the town a premier boating spot and is well-known for its New England “village” feel.

The town was incorporated in 1857, and the first settlements in the town were seasonal. The town traded with Nantucket, Newport, New York, and Savannah; a shipping complex was developed at the head of Mattapoisett Harbor in the first half of the 18th century. By 1855 there were 16 whaling ships in operation.

Mattapoisett eventually became one of the most important shipbuilding sites on the East Coast. Many of the whaling ships that sailed from New Bedford were crafted in Mattapoisett, as was “The Acushnet” on which Herman Melville sailed. Mattapoisett homes hold their value, largely due to the town’s small size and its location on the bay.

The Farm Coast, Massachusetts WESTPORT

Westport is a quaint seaside community

along Buzzards Bay that borders Rhode Island just to the west. There are five historic “villages” or areas of town known by different names: North Westport, Westport Point, The Central Village, and Acoaxet/ Westport Harbor. It’s very popular for summer residences and estate homes along its coastlines. The town is now mostly residential, with a large farming community and an active artistic community.

The Horseneck Beach State Reservation and Gooseberry Neck Island are popular summer destinations for many in the area. From the harbor at Westport Point to the Central Village there are large farms and elaborate historic residences along Main Road. Westport has long been a favorite location for second homes and summer residences and many estate homes that have been in families for generations.

This unique region of the Southcoast is well known for stone walls separating properties and boundaries throughout this coastal community. There is an innate sense of privacy and seclusion, especially along the Harbor and Point that is cherished by those who live here.

Living in Little Compton, RI, is truly a unique experience. With a population of only about 3,500 people, the community is small and tight-knit. Residents enjoy a peaceful, rural atmosphere with plenty of natural beauty to take in.

The area has traditional New England charm with winding stone walls, expansive farms and historic estates along the Atlantic Ocean and Sakonnet River. The coastal areas are stunning — it’s one of the few places along the East Coast that’s still relatively unspoiled. Locals work hard to keep it that way by supporting groups that work to retain the town’s rural character.

It’s not that there’s nothing to do in Little Compton; it is a place full of small delights, beautiful beaches, great small parks, vineyards, and unique artist galleries. Once you are here, you will feel right away why it is so special. The Commons is right out of a Norman Rockwell painting, and the locals take lunch at the Commons Restaurant. A ride along this community’s coastline offers a preview of the elaborate summer residences here.

Aquidneck Island, Rhode Island NEWPORT

The beautiful seaside community of Newport is famous for its lavish, 19th-century Gilded Age mansions and centuries-long sailing tradition. Located on the southern tip of Aquidneck Island in Narragansett Bay, Newport boasts sweeping seaside views. Newport’s excellent quality of life makes it one of the best places to live in the U.S.

The area’s 25,000 residents take full advantage of the city’s mild weather and abundance of outdoor recreation activities, from sailing to swimming and cycling. Residents in Newport are socially and civically engaged and have access to high-quality education, lively entertainment, beautiful scenery and never-ending seafood options.

Home to beautiful beaches, Colonial-era architecture, and world-class sailing, the prosperous Newport is an appealing destination to both full-time residents and second homeowners looking to settle in a place steeped with history and charm; it is one of the top value markets in Rhode Island and in New England. In the summer, it becomes a Northeast hot spot for tourism and a host of

national and international events.

West Bay, Rhode Island EAST GREENWICH

East Greenwich is considered a “most desirable” suburban Providence location, and is in high demand for home buyers. Its physical locale in the center of the Ocean State and easy highway access to all points are a plus.

East Greenwich has a well-cultured downtown area filled with specialty shops and restaurants galore. Along the waterside is the Hill and Harbor Historic District, as well as restaurants, marinas and public access for boating and recreation. Proximity to T.F. Green Airport, Amtrak and highways have made East Greenwich popular with many looking for that well-connected lifestyle.

In the Frenchtown neighborhood, you will find some of the most expensive real estate in Rhode Island and it has a very rural community feel. East Greenwich is only a short ride to Rhode Island’s capital city, Providence. For shopping, dining, nightlife, and culture, it is one of the top spots in the Northeast. Evolve Your Backyard with Grilla

Creating a custom backyard barbecue sanctuary gives you the perfect place to host friends and family for an afternoon of wonderful food and company. Whether you like to make your grill or smoker the star of the show or prefer a full-scale modern outdoor kitchen on the deck, it’s easier than ever to customize your ideal backyard oasis!

How to Choose the Right Grill?

Your grill or smoker is the heart and soul of every backyard barbecue, and unfortunately it’s not always easy to determine which style is best for your situation.

If you love hosting parties but hate babysitting the grill the entire time, then an All-Terrain Pellet Smoker is an excellent choice! Simply prep your food before the party, place it on the grill, set your temperature and walk away until it’s done. The Silverbac All-Terrain will automatically monitor and adjust the live-fire, smoking everything properly while you entertain the guests. The grill will even notify you when your food has finished cooking if you utilize the included app and temperature probe!

If you prefer to hold court around the grill and showoff your barbecue prowess, then look to the remarkably versatile All-Terrain Kong Kamado grill! You’ll be able to smoke low-and-slow pulled pork over a lump charcoal fire, or kick up the heat and crank out dozens of burgers and hot dogs for a large group. The included

all-terrain cart makes moving the grill a breeze and provides unrivalled stability when compared to common Kamado grill nests. While this grill will require a little bit more work from you, the food that comes off it will be absolutely out of this world!

How to Create a Custom Outdoor Kitchen with no construction crew

If you’d like to take it a step further and craft your own custom outdoor kitchen then skip the contractor and take a look at Grilla’s modular BBQ island system. Start with a grill base and choose either a pellet smoker, kamado grill or even a gas grill & griddle combination, then choose any additional pieces that fit your backyard. Choose from sink & fridge sections, multiple counterspace and storage options and even corner pieces to form fit to your deck. Made entirely with stainless steel and a heavy-duty porcelain countertop this outdoor kitchen will evolve your backyard for years to come! www.grillagrills.com

Gorgeous Fall Foliage Getaways in Northern New England

NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND is arguably one of the world’s most beautiful places in the fall; there are few places that can compare to the spectacle of rich colors and clear blue skies showcased in the mountains. Multi-colored dense forests put on a show

like none other throughout the hillsides, mountains, and valleys. Scarlet and sugar maples, ash, birch, beech, dogwood, tulip tree, oak and sassafras all contribute to the kaleidoscope of vibrant, autumnal colors.

The celebration of fall’s harvest is everywhere with delicious seasonal fruit and produce, cool crisp air for walking and hiking, and spectacular scenery. This

amalgamation creates one of the best seasons for travel in New England. Here are some of the most enchanting fall foliage locations that will have you dreaming in color, long after the last leaf drifts to the ground.

NEW HAMPSHIRE

From the famous White Mountains to the Great North Woods, New Hampshire is

34 COASTALHOMELIFE.COM FALL 2023

arguably one of the most scenic destinations in New England. Drive along the 35mile Kancamagus Pass all the way to the top. Explore Franconia Notch State Park to witness the majestic flume and foliageframed waterfalls. Adventure-seekers can hike the trails of Mount Washington for panoramic views that extend for miles. The Great North Woods region of the state is far less popular with leaf hunters, but just as breathtaking earlier in the season. At the center of it all is North Conway, one of the most bustling destinations for great accommodations, tons of shopping, great restaurants, and fun nightlife.

Recommended Stay: The Omni Mount Washington Resort offers classic elegance against the backdrop of the Presidential

Range. For both families and individuals, the Owl’s Nest Resort offers a perfect blend of comfort and activities set against a stunning mountain backdrop.

VERMONT

Route 100, the state’s largest highway, is a more than 200-mile thoroughfare that’s popular with nature photographers and fall enthusiasts alike. The scenic drive offers an ever-changing panorama of deep reds, fiery oranges, and golden yellows and leads directly to some of Vermont’s most charming postcard towns like Woodstock, Stowe, and Bennington. Lesser known is the gorgeous drive down historic Route 7A, which showcases 17 tiny towns and villages, including the historic enclaves of Bennington and Manchester. For

a truly unforgettable experience, take the Stowe Gondola SkyRide for a bird’s-eye view of the foliage-draped mountains.

Recommended Stay: Immerse yourself in the warmth and timeless elegance of the Woodstock Inn & Resort in the heart of Woodstock. The Stowe Mountain Lodge offers luxurious accommodations with breathtaking views of Mount Mansfield.

MAINE

There’s never a bad time to meander up the coastline via Route 1, but in the fall, it’s a double whammy of water and foliage views. Consider starting in Kittery and slowly winding your way up the coast toward Bar Harbor. Ogunquit offers a gorgeous stroll along the Marginal Way, while

FALL 2023 COASTALHOMELIFE.COM 35
Stowe, Vermont, Cascades

Kennebunkport offers a colorful drive through Cape Porpoise and along Goose Rocks Beach. The Bridle Path invites you to bike through the foliage. Wells Reserve lets you add a little bird-watching to your leaf-peeping, and there’s a more active hike to be had on the Eastern Trail in Arundel. Maine’s crown jewel, Acadia National Park, transforms into a painter’s paradise during the fall months. If you want to leaf-peep with the locals, commit to a hike on Blue Hill Mountain, an area favorite.

Recommended Stay: The Bar Harbor Inn & Spa offers a luxurious retreat with breathtaking oceanfront views. Alternatively, the charming Balance Rock Inn provides an intimate escape within walking distance of the picturesque Bar Harbor village.

BERKSHIRES, MASSACHUSETTS

The Berkshires, nestled in western Massachusetts, boast a unique blend of culture and nature. The Mohawk Trail, the country’s first scenic road, beckons with winding roads that reveal panoramic vistas, while the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail offers a leisurely biking or walking experience. Explore the hidden gem of Mount Greylock for sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, and venture to Pittsfield State

Forest for a more rugged encounter with nature’s vibrant transformation.

Recommended Stay: The Blantyre, a historic country estate, offers opulent accommodations in a romantic setting. Or, the Porches Inn at MASS MoCA provides a whimsical and artsy escape.

CONNECTICUT RIVER VALLEY, CONNECTICUT

The Connecticut River Valley enchants visitors with its charming towns and serene landscapes. The Lower Connecticut River Valley Scenic Byway offers a leisurely drive through the region’s most picturesque locales. Discover the quaint town of Essex, where colonial architecture mingles with the

fiery tones of fall foliage. Take a cruise along the Connecticut River for a unique vantage point of the changing leaves.

Recommended Stay: The Griswold Inn, a historic inn dating back to 1776, offers a blend of old-world charm and modern comforts. For a cozy and personalized experience, consider a stay at the Riverwind Inn in Deep River.

Cold? Flu? Not You!

3 Important Vitamins For Immune System Strength

WITH COLD AND FLU SEASON’S ARRIVAL, it’s time to shift our focus towards strengthening our immune system’s defenses. While a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle are key to maintaining a robust immune system, certain vitamins also play a crucial role in supporting its optimal

function. Here are 3 vitamins to consider incorporating into your fall wellness routine.

1. Vitamin D: The Sunshine Shield

As the days become shorter and we get less sunlight, it’s very important to make sure you’re getting enough vitamin D. Vitamin D helps special immune system cells, like T-cells and macrophages, to be more active

and better at fighting off infections. It also helps keep your skin and the inside of your nose and mouth strong so that germs can’t get in as easily. Another great thing about vitamin D is that it stops your immune system from becoming overstimulated, which makes you more susceptible to illness.

Recommendation:

Thorne Vitamin D + K2 Liquid

2. Vitamin C: The Diligent Defender

Vitamin C is a key protector of our immune system cells, keeping them strong so they can keep us healthy. This vitamin helps to make special white blood cells that fight off the germs that try to infect us. Additionally, it helps to create collagen, a vital component of skin and mucous membranes that act as barriers against harmful invaders. Vitamin C doesn’t just help us stay healthy by preventing illness, it also helps us get better more quickly if we do get sick. That’s a win-win! Look for liposomal technology which provides superior absorption and can significantly improve the bioavailability of it.

Recommendation:

Cymbiotika Liposomal Vitamin C

3. Probiotics: The Formidable Forcefield Did you know that the strength of your immune system starts in your intestines? Having a balanced and diverse gut

microbiome not only aids in proper digestion of your food and nutrient absorption, but also greatly enhances your immune system. Probiotics strengthen the lining of your digestive tract, limiting the ability of pathogens from getting into your bloodstream. They also stimulate the production of antimicrobial peptides. By improving your immune system’s strength, probiotics safeguard your overall health and well-being.
