If you are looking for the perfect getaways for you and your family this summer, check out some of my favorite spots where you can get a slice of paradise, while indulging in the some of the best food and drink Rhode Island has to offer.

DeWolf Tavern Bristol, RI

The DeWolf Tavern is located in the historic building that was once known as the DeWolf Rum Distillery on the Thames Street Landing waterfront, in the heart of downtown Bristol, Rhode Island. DeWolf offers mouthwatering food and drink in a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, whether you are enjoying a glass of wine and light meal in the downstairs tavern, enjoying the bay breeze on the patio, or soaking in the views upstairs with the fireplace! DeWolf is the perfect venue for weddings and private parties, and also offers specials throughout the week, including dollar oysters on Mondays, happy hour appetizers from Tuesday – Friday, and Chef specials every weekend! For entrees, when dining at DeWolf you must try the Duck Leg Confit as well as the Lobster Popover. The Duck Leg Confit is served with a honey pasillo chili sauce that has the perfect amount of kick, kale, as well as pickled onion.
