UILT IN 1870, this building is one of many houses on the plot of land which belonged to the Kendall Family. Head of household, Henry D. Kendall, resided in his house located on Pittsfield Road for as long as he lived. The original construction of the main house consisted of the center structure of the current edifice (From the two walls opposite both fireplaces, and from the front door straight back to the farthest wall.) Two additions (left and right side of main house) were added at later dates.
