I may be two years old, but I am still trying to figure things out and get more settled. I am still working on house training and tend to mark my territory. I have lived with another large sized dog and did well, I was playful. I am a bit of an escape artist and like to play catch me games when you want to get me for something. I enjoy going for walks. I will need sturdy occupiers and chew toys to keep me entertained. I can be afraid of new people at first, so slow positive introductions to patient folks would be best.

Pet Partners was created to help pet owners care for their companion animals during times of economic stress, so their pets can remain in their home and not be surrendered to shelters or rescue groups.

Hi! I am Ariel the medium sized Border Collie with lots of energy! I love to go for walks and hikes and have playtime. I came to the shelter when my owners thought I was too big for a trailer park. I lived with a small poodle and we did well together. I lived with kids over eight and did well too! I am smart and know a few basic commands and looking for more to do. I am wonderful in the car. I can be vocal when seeing new people or things in my environment. I am working on my leash skills and manners. I am sure I would do great with an active family with time to exercise, play, and train!
