Honey Dew is a brown 3-year-old pit bull mix with white paws. She graduated with flying colors from her introductory manners class, finishing first place in the obstacle course. She loves her rope and chew toys and tennis balls. She has a tendency to jump, but she’s obedient and listens, so with patience, she’ll learn to keep all four feet on the ground. They say she’s a real snuggle bug at home and loves to squish between them on the couch or bed. Honey Dew is completely house and crate trained. Her foster family brings her on field trips, where she rides well in the car and loves to experience new sights and sounds. She has a prey drive, so needs a home without cats or small animals. She’s also selective about her dog friends; a successful dog meet-and-greet is required before she can go home with another dog. Due to her energy, she’d do best in a home with a fenced yard and with children at least 12 years old. Because Honey Dew is in foster care, potential adopters need to make an appointment to see her at the shelter
