Welcome to the 7th annual GameChangers Ball. Two years ago, New Heights made a landmark move to a new home in Brooklyn. Since that time, we have been on a non-stop journey of growth – adding more value to our community, in more ways than ever. Through partnerships with dozens of local organizations, schools, elected officials and other corporate and community groups, we have increased access to resources that young people need to thrive academically, socially, emotionally and physically. We have expanded our College Bound program and continued to demonstrate strong outcomes in educational attainment and career development for our student-athletes. We have also introduced new community-based services that are reaching hundreds of additional youth and families who come from Crown Heights and other historically underserved neighborhoods in Brooklyn. In total, our network of after-school, weekend and summer initiatives now engage more than 1,500 young people annually – five times the number we served in previous years. Tonight is a special celebration of these achievements and, most importantly, an opportunity to thank all of you for making every victory possible. We could not do it alone. Your support for our sports-based college and career readiness programs, and your commitment to our growth in our new home, results in game changing and life changing opportunities for deserving boys and girls. On their behalf, we thank you for your incredible generosity and welcome you to the GameChangers Ball. In appreciation,

Mark Patricof Board Chair

Ted Smith Executive Director
