Dust Bowl revisited In 1984, Bill Ganzel created and the University of Nebraska Press published Dust Bowl Descent, Bill’s 136-page look at the Great Depression. Ganzel has also produced a companion interactive e-Book using a series of photos, oral histories, and videos to tell the stories of more than 30 Dust Bowl descendants during the 1930s and beyond.
