“Jesus saith unto him, 'Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.' ” John 5:8 KJV In this verse Jesus was talking to the man who was paralyzed, yet He told the man to take up his bed and walk. It seemed strange that Jesus would ask a man to do what he couldn’t do. Jesus will never ask you to do anything He’s not going to give you the power to do! You may hear God speaking to you to give a certain amount of money, to give of your labor, to give away some of your furniture, to get on that plane even though you don’t like to fly, to help out at the church or whatever God may be asking of you - you may feel completely unqualified for.
Psalm 144:1 Blessed be The Lord my strength, who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight.
You may feel like you don’t have enough or feel like you’re not good enough. If God is asking you to do it, if He is speaking to your spirit or speaking through another individual, He will enable you. God would never ask you if He wasn’t going to give you the power to do it, to give it, to have it or to walk in it! Then the man tried he found there was a power there that he didn’t have on his own. If God asks you to do something it isn’t going to be like it used to when you tried it in your own strength. JUMP OVER THAT WALL! With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. (Psalm 18:29, NIV) The great heroes of the Bible impress us with their strength, their confidence and the depth of their faith. And as God's Word tells us, you can do the same great things they did because you have the same God in you! King David was supremely confident in God—firm in the knowledge that God would give him the strength to overcome his obstacles. God can cause you to go over them, around them, or even through them, but God will get you to where you’re supposed to be. Philippians 4:13 says you can have strength "for all things" through the power of Christ in your heart. We hope this will encourage you to take a stand for God. Don't ever think that God did great things only for people in the days of the Bible. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Call on Him, and you will see Him come through and do what only He can do! A Prayer for Today

The ropes on his arms became like charred flax, and the bindings dropped from his hands. Judges 15:14 Samson broke his bonds as if they were nothing. In another case, he picked up the heavy gate of the city and single handedly carried them several miles away, because the Spirit of the Lord came upon him. He did what no human being should have been able to do. God points this out so that we will understand that it really was not Samson alone who did this, but Samson was used by God to do this through the supernatural power of His Spirit. Samson's muscular strength is simply a different form of supernatural or super-energized power. We can see the supernatural aspect clearly because he did things that no human should be able to do.God Bless You Abundantly.
“The Lord is my strength & song.” -Exodus 15:2 Moses was given supernatural strength when God sent him back into Egypt to confront Pharaoh. Daniel was given supernatural strength in the lion's den. Esther was given supernatural strength to petition the king without an invitation. John the Baptist was given supernatural strength to be a voice crying out in the wilderness. Paul was given supernatural strength to fight the good fight of faith and finish his race. Every hero in the Scriptures was endowed by God with supernatural strength to do everything God was calling him or her to do.
