The internal working surface measures 400 x 450mm, allowing ample space for a balance. It’s made of a scratch-resistant granite slab that sits on shock-absorbing rubber mounts. The balance should be set in the middle in order to stabilise the base to enable greater precision.

The black laminated outer working surface provides enough space for accessories, samples or other objects like pipettes. The two-piece construction keeps the granite slab in the middle and reduces interference caused by air currents, vibrations or movements. The AVT includes levelling feet to accommodate uneven surfaces.

The AVT is easy to clean, due to its laminated polished finish.
