WATER PURIFICATION & TREATMENT

High purity water is essential for your lab Natsep provides state-of-the-art lab water systems that combine the most superior purification technologies to produce ultrahigh purity water consistently and reliably for many applications, including highperformance liquid chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometry (MS), or dealing with proteins and DNA.

Advanced features: • The Genie series comprises advanced wireless communication technologies, allowing easy connection to multiple dispensers and components • Feed water conductivity monitoring and RFID tracking of consumables and accessories ensure optimal system performance • Accurate on-line TOC measurement is based on complete oxidation methods • A RephBio filter can be embraced to produce pyrogen, nuclease and bacteriafree water for critical applications

Consistently high-quality water Rephile Biosciences’ Genie G lab water system is a single unit that produces ultrapure water (Type I) and EDI water (Type II) directly from tap water at a relatively low cost. Genie G is easy to use and combines an optimised sequence of water purification technologies in a compact unit. It offers desired solutions for research professionals who work with a variety of applications utilising both Type I and Type II water in the lab. It is fully integrated, reliable and sustainable.

Genie G is a fully automated system that contains pre-rinse, a RO membrane fouling to prevent flush, RO membrane life monitoring, as well as many other quality control programs for convenient operation.

Elemental analysis A recent and essential addition to the Genie ultrapure water purification system portfolio is the Genie De-ion Water Purification & Dispensing Kit, which allows users to perform trace elemental analyses. Working as a final polishing section, the Genie De-ion kit guarantees reliable and consistent water quality with an extremely low level of elemental contaminants.

Improve your productivity with Metrohm Omnis systems

Metrohm’s new platform for wet chemical analysis enables fully automated, parallel titrations, as well as pH and conductivity measurements Performing four different titrations simultaneously on a single, fully automated system is the new state of the art in titration. The new OMNIS platform by Metrohm includes an x-y-z sample robot, taking the efficiency of wet chemical analysis to new levels. Higher sample throughput The sample robot can accommodate up to seven racks with a maximum capacity of 175 samples altogether. On a smaller footprint It makes a substantial difference in terms of footprint to accommodate 175 samples on the square design of a modular x-y-z system vs. distributing the same number of samples across two or even three discrete autosamplers with turntables. The amount of bench space saved with the new titration platform is considerable. At a more competitive price As the capacity of turntable sample changers is inherently limited, pushing the limit used to mean investing in another autosampler and a titrator, possibly more, depending on the sample volume. Not so with the OMNIS platform. The OMNIS sample robot can be scaled up module by module from size S to M

to L, all connected to the same titration stand. In much less time Fully automated parallel titration at four workstations means getting the same number of samples analysed for the same parameters up to three times faster than by sequential analysis. The titrations performed at four workstations can be all of the same kind or different ones - Omnis can handle both. ESG solutions for water/ effluent analysis

Free monograph gives comprehensive overview of parameters, methods, and dedicated applications Metrohm is pleased to publish a revised edition of their monograph “Analysis of water samples and water constituents with Metrohm instruments”. The latest edition includes updated methods, applications and literature. This 200+ pages compendium can be used both as a textbook and a practical resource to be consulted by professionals from the water industry, environmental testing, and other sectors. The present monograph aggregates the work and experience of two generations of application specialists from the laboratories at Metrohm International Headquarters. It can be downloaded free of charge from the Metrohm website. Parameters covered by the monograph: • Physical parameters (colour, turbidity, pH value, conductivity, redox potential) • Gaseous parameters (dissolved oxygen, free and total chlorine, ozone) • Anions (chloride, cyanide, sulfate, bromide, fluoride)

• •

Cations (calcium and magnesium, ammonia, amines, metals, and heavy metals) Other constituents (NTA, EDTA, DTPA)
