FAST LOADING OF AGAROSE GELS IN AN EYEBLINK USING INTEGRA’S ADJUSTABLE TIP SPACING VOYAGER PIPETTE Gel electrophoresis is a standard laboratory procedure that is indispensable for nucleic acid visualisation and purification. Samples are loaded onto a rigid polysaccharide gel, then subjected to an electric field. This induces migration towards the anode due to the negative charge of the nucleic acids, separating the individual components by size and/or conformation. Typically, samples from 96 well plates or PCR strips are loaded onto agarose gels using a single channel pipette.
