Titroline 7800 universal automatic titrators T

he Titroline 7800 enhanced the universal features of the TitroLine 7750 with an additional IDS measurement socket. Hence the TitroLine 7800 can perform potentiometric titrations with analogue and IDS electrodes up to volumetric KF titrations. The digital (IDS) measurement socket allows the connection of various digital sensors, such as for measuring of conductivity. IDS stands for ‘intelligent, digital sensors’ and means that the analogue measuring signal is converted into a digital measuring value in the sensor. This protects the signal from external interferences, such as moisture, electro-magnetic fields or pulses. The higher measuring accuracy raises confidence in your readings to a whole new level.

The online display of the measurement curve, measurement drift and titration solvent consumption (TitroLine 7500 KF only) make accurate monitoring of the titration possible and one can determine any unwanted side reactions immediately.

Increasing pressure on the manufacturing industry The pressure on small- and mediumsized manufacturers to perform quality control in compliance with official regulations is rising. Tougher quality standards are enforced, notably in emerging markets. Metrohm is pleased to help manufacturers rise to this challenge with the Eco Titrator. Manufactured in Switzerland, this new, competitively priced titration system helps small companies in particular to take their quality control to the next level. Reducing the risk of human errors The Eco Titrator makes titration as easy and reliably as it should be. Users just have to select the required standard method on the instrument’s touchsensitive user interface, enter the sample size, and start the titration at the touch of a screen. The analysis is carried out

Eco titrator Omnis New titration platform helps manufacturers reduce risks in quality control When something goes wrong in quality control, the reputation of the brand concerned is at stake. Better to exclude risks in the first place. With the new Metrohm Eco Titrator, this is easy. It makes titration so simple, safe and reliable that everybody can perform titrations - and get the right results.

An integrated approach to increase productivity and efficiency in the modern laboratory Omnis is the high-end titration system from Metrohm. It provides users with the possibility to consolidate their wet chemical analysis on a universal platform. With this comes the flexibility to expand and customise this platform as their business grows - automation possibilities hitherto not available help take productivity to the next level. Flexibility to meet any challenge Omnis gives laboratories the flexibility to respond to new challenges as they arise. Hence, the platform can be expanded at any time to provide additional capacity for new applications and/or higher sample

automatically, including GLP compliant documentation of results. The perfect solution for many industries From food & beverages to petrochemicals to water analysis and surface finishing combined with quality sensors from Metrohm, the Eco Titrator is an ideal solution for quality control in virtually all industries. Local service and support available Wherever they are based, users of the Eco Titrator can rely on local service and support provided by the global Metrohm sales organisation with subsidiaries and agencies in 120 countries. throughput. This is done by adding the required hardware, e.g. another titration module, another workstation, or even a robotic autosampler, to the existing platform. Multitasking for more efficiency Omnis boosts efficiency with the possibility to perform several tasks in parallel. Here is an example: While a titration is performed in a sample on one workstation of the Omnis Sample Robot, the next sample is already being prepared on another workstation. A third and fourth workstation may be used to further integrate the same application or to perform different ones simultaneously. Straightforward upscaling of performance The modularity of OMNIS includes the possibility to increase sample throughput by automation. Hence, throughput can be pushed in increments from 50 to 125 to 175 samples, based on the x-y-z system of the OMNIS Sample Robot. Peak performance is defined by four titrations performed simultaneously at four workstations to analyse 175 samples completely unattended. Software as simple as a construction kit Basically, Omnis provides a construction kit of discrete functional steps, which can be freely combined and used over and over again. Thus, customised operating procedures can be built block by block with the least possible effort. Answers at a single glance Users want to know the concentration of parameters x, y, and z in their

samples. In reality, this all too often means collecting results from different determinations or method-specific databases and aggregating them with considerable effort. Not so with Omnis: All results are connected to the sample in the sample profile and shown to the user at a single glance. Maximum transparency for perfect control Measuring a particular sample may require several different methods to be performed in a specific order. If whole series of samples have to be analysed, maintaining an overview becomes a challenge. Again, not so with Omnis: Users can open the sample profile at any time to see which samples (and parameters) have already been analysed and which are next.
