NNS Installs Enterprise’s Anchor on Abraham Lincoln Although the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) is scheduled to be decommissioned in 2016, its legacy lives on, and so does one of its anchors. Newport News Shipbuilding recently installed one of Enterprise’s anchors on younger carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72).
