Fire Dancers Friday, July 24 9:30pm This year we will have live fire dancers Friday night at 9:30pm. PyroTechniques is formed by two lovely ladies that will be spinning poi, snakes, large and small hula hoops. They have brought in two additional dancers that are going to be dancing and blowing our minds with flow wands and double staff, possibly fire fans too! Grand Marshal Margaret Epperson

The Grand Marshal for this year’s Toledo Summer Festival is Margaret Epperson. Margaret was selected for her energy and is always involved in community activities. She has been a Toledo community Foundation member for 25 years, Board Member, and Vice President for 15 years, and Secretary for 2 years. A few of her other associations include, Toledo Cemetery Association Board Member for 20 years, Santa’s Workshop for 5 years as a Board Member, Vice President and Secretary. Margaret is heading up the Toledo All School Reunion set for August 15th, 2015 which is sponsored by the Toledo History Center. She just became a new member of the Toledo Elks Lodge in June 2015. In a personal message and thank you, Margaret wrote: “To a great community of Toledo, it is always an honor to be honored, Grand Marshal of the Summer Festival Parade. Thank you – Thank you for so many years of working together for a better community and town. I share this honor with all those who I have worked with in Toledo, your kindness, smiles, and “we can do this” attitude, makes us so proud of our accomplishments. Each group I work with reflects a need in our town. It takes a village to raise a child – in our town it takes us all, together, with good leaders’ who care, to make it happen. Thank you to all for your energy and compassion for mankind. ~Margaret Epperson P.S. Thank you to a special guy who has given me full range and always beside me – “Yes dear” Forrest.”
