However, your attorney must not refrain from giving candid advice by the prospect that the advice will be unpleasant to you.

Matters that go beyond strictly legal questions are often also in the domain of other professions. Where consultation with a professional in another field, such as psychology or accounting, is called for, your attorney should not hesitate to make such a referral. However, at the same time, your attorney’s advice at its’ best often consists of recommending a course of action in conflict with the advice of experts from other professions.
