Friday Night Clay at Morean Center for Clay

Information from visitstpeteclearwater.com

Have you been wanting to try your hand at clay art? If so, Morean Center for Clay is hosting a play-in-the-clay event every Friday evening from now until December 17. The weekly event is open to all ages and all skill levels, with an emphasis on just having fun.

Be prepared to get dirty for two hours from 7 to 9 pm of wheel throwing and hand building. Bring a towel, your favorite beverage and a group of friends or a date for a fun get-together. From whimsical to functional hand building in clay has infinite possibilities. In this handson experience you will be guided by a clay artist in 2 hours of creative exploration and skill building.

You will be able to select your favorite artwork at the end of the night and the instructors will bisque and glaze it for you to bring home.

Tickets are available for $30 per person. Pre-registration is required as the Center is currently maintaining social distancing guidelines, so secure your spot by visiting www.moreanartscenter.org/classes-2/clay/ friday-night-clay.
