Deputy Byrne was a vocal critic of Greyhound’s actions earlier this year, when the company took over bin collection services from Dublin City Council.
“Earlier this year, Greyhound resorted to astonishing bullying
tactics, when it adopted a restrictive and punitive payment regime for its new bin collection customers. Now, with no prior notice, the company has announced it is going to start charging for recycling household waste, which was free up to this point.
