ALSA LC UI Magazine October 2022 brings the theme “Animals as Living and Sentient Beings”. This theme speaks about how animals should be portrayed as sentient beings because like humans, animals also have the ability to feel emotions. Sadly, till this day, many people are still indifferent towards their sentience, hence causing animals to be the target of cruelty. Through this theme, we want to raise society’s awareness about this issue and enhance their perspective on animals as living and sentient beings. We also want to broaden society's understanding about animal protection, with the hope of contributing to the improvement of animal welfare.
