Ripple Garden to be unveiled

It is not just the Leisure Centre that is recieving some much needed TLC, the area that lies directly across from the reception area along the riverside is also being given a new lease of life. The aptly named Ripple Garden is being revamped by Garden Designer, writer and agronomist, Penny Meadmore thanks to BBC Radio Lincolnshire. The Ripple Garden uses the

contours of an existing slope to create a series of terraced beds which flow in and out like waves on a beach. Planting will be set within mown grass and can be viewed from the bridge above. A ‘Ripple Bench’ will provide seating for people to further enjoy the setting. The garden will be unveiled alongside the opening on BBC Radio Lincs, Melvyn Priors show on the 15th October.
