Haines Farm & Garden Gearing Up For Peak Season

We are a family owned and operated Garden Center that has been in existence for over 115 years and is in its 4th generation. The business started around 1885 as a general store named Morton & Haines. They sold groceries and farmers’ supplies, including farm equipment. It housed the “Parry Post Office” until the

free rural delivery system was inaugurated. At that time the post office was moved to its current site – “The Palmyra Post Office”. As farms in the area were sold, they added a Buick Dealership known as Haines Buick.

Play in Bridge Tournament at Game Friendzy!

Game Friendzy is excited and delighted to host the 2023 Philadelphia Contract Bridge Association (PCBA) Unit 141 Sectional Friday-Sunday, October 6-8 at its Cherry Hill location.

And YOU, and all your bridge-playing friends, are invited to participate!

The tournament will feature open and Dupli-Swiss games, free lessons from bridge masters, and complimentary breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and (non-alcoholic) beverages.

The three-day event takes place at Game Friendzy, South Jersey’s premier gaming location, located at 7 Carnegie Plaza, near the intersection of Springdale and Church roads in Cherry Hill. The facility’s entrance and free parking lot are at the rear of the Fox Rehabilitation building.

bles & Advancing.” Saturday’s speaker will be Ala Hamilton-Day, a bridge teacher, attorney, and Diamond Life Master. She will discuss “Do You Have Finesse? Or Not? “

On both days, the first single-session stratified open pairs game of the day will begin at 10 am, with a second session starting at 2:40 pm, and lunch in between. The fee is $36/pair/ session.

On Sunday, a double session of Dupli-Swiss Teams games will start at 10 am, with a second session following after lunch. The fee is $144/team for both sessions.
