Real Men Wear Pink candidates compete to fund the future In its fifth year in South Jersey, 15 dedicated area leaders will unite to fight breast cancer with the American Cancer Society through participation in the Real Men Wear Pink campaign. Men participating in the campaign will raise awareness for breast cancer by wearing pink throughout the month of October and competing to see who can raise the most money to support critical research and services. Dollars raised during this campaign help the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer through early detection and prevention, innovative research, and patient support such as the Reach To Recovery. This program matches breast cancer patients with trained volunteers who have navigated that very same journey. Funds raised also benefit access to care programs like Hope Lodge and Road To Recovery which aim to break down the

barriers to getting treatment. Keith Myers, Vice President of Operations at Ivy Rehab, is a Real Men candidate due to his personal connection to the disease. “I’m supporting Real Men Wear Pink because breast cancer and all cancers have affected my friends and family over the years. I also believe in doing my part on finding a cure, so my children and others won’t have to worry about cancer in the future”, says Myers. Keith knows that without his support and dedication, his children may face the same reality in the future. Like Keith, Ron Cappuccio of Cappuccio Law knows the statistics and just how impactful his efforts can be. More than 276,000 women will be diagnosed in the US in 2020 and over 42,000 women will likely succumb to the disease. Additionally, breast cancer doesn’t just affect women. More than 2,600 men are diagnosed each year. “We need
