Weskan Coyotes

Six-man

Coach: Brett Clow (3rd year, 14-2 overall) Last season’s record/ playoff finish: 9-0, 6-man champions Returning starters: 5 offense, 5 defense Top returning players: Bailey McQuillan, RB/LB, sr., RB/LB; Dallas Seader, sr., E/LB; Tracer Vincent, jr., E/ LB; Zack Box, jr., DL: Jace Mackley, soph., QB/DB; Cody Seader, soph., C. Team notes: The defending six-man champions — the first Kansas champions in sixman — return with a wealth of experience to make another run. The six-man bracket is made after the regular season, then seeded according to records. Weskan and head coach Brett Clow played a key role in organizing the six-man league, which will have two new members this season in Fowler and Healy/Western Plains. Western Plains was sup-

posed to field a team last year but couldn’t find enough kids to play. Fowler will drop from Eight-Man Division II. Sophomore Jace Mackley looks to take over for standout Greg Kuykendall at quarterback. The Coyotes graduated just two players from a team that went undefeated. Weskan will have 18 players on the roster. Senior Bailey McQuillan returns after posting 785 rushing yards and nine touchdowns to go along with 380 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He had 20 total touchdowns.
