hell Petroleum development Company (SPDC) has finalised
key sales and purchase agreements on four oil blocks but the company is awaiting the statutory minister’s consent before
it will announce the winners, New Telegraph has gathered. The company has signed all major docu-
ments on the sale of the assets worth $3 billion while buyers, including Aiteo, Televeras and other winners are already in talks
with lenders on how to raise funds for the assets. SPDC spokesperson, Mr. Precious Okolobo, who confirmed the divestment declined further comments on the transaction, which he described as CONTINUED ON PAGE 4

inister of Aviation, Mr. Osita Chidoka, has ordered all aviation agencies to halt further payment for all capital projects until after verification of the status of the contracts.
