wenty one fundamentalists were shot dead yesterday during a jailbreak
attempt at the office of the State Security Service (SSS) in Abuja. While 18 of the suspect-
ed insurgents were confirmed to have died during the heavy early morning fighting, three were said
to have died as a result of injuries sustained. This is even as two personnel of the SSS were said to have sustained serious injuries. The disclosure was made by Marilyn Ogar,
