list of committees and the disagreement among delegates over the number
of committees as well as their responsibilities. Chairman of the conference,
Justice Idris Kutigi, who adjourned the session shortly after it commenced, said the
conference would reconvene. The adjournment, Kutigi said, was to enable the secretariat conclude its work on constituting the 20 committees designed for the conference.
