he Senate yesterday finally adopted the 2015-2017 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) to end months of speculations
over the document. In doing so, it raised the capital vote from N666.5 billion to N700.78 billion and slashed the recurrent component of the 2015 budget.
It also fixed the exchange rate at N190 to $1 and as reported yesterday, the Senate settled for $52 per barrel as oil benchmark as against the N165
