continued from page 27 has an eclectic mix of clients ranging from ages 17 to 93 and that her aim is to spread “girl love” and “make the world a better place.”
“We collect beauty, feminine and wellness products for women in need,” she added.
Gonzales said she used to travel to many places before the pandemic but now seeks to support local vendors, which has brought her full circle. She added she’s very grateful to be opening her business and attributes the recent pandemic with her focus on wellness more than ever before.
“It’s great to have more local support,” she said. “Being half Peruvian, I went down the deep-end with plant medicine and I just love supporting local vendors that make things with their hands. My mom also does that, so I felt during COVID it was hard for artists to make money because many lost their jobs. It’s combination of all this, which brought me here and I want it to grow in hopes of making things a little better. We aspire to inspire everyone to live a happy and healthy lifestyle.”
Gonzalez said her studio hosts painting, including macramé classes, a form of textile using knotting techniques. Also offered is Reiki Healing, an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation and reduces stress and anxiety. Pampas, healing crystal jewelry, as well as other wellness craft items are also sold at the store.
“Additionally there are beauty, travel and DIY tips in our Love and Flow Studio website blog,” she noted.
Damiano commented after the ceremony.
“Love and Flow has always been a great small business in Little Falls and their new location right next door to where they used to be keeps them in the heart of our downtown for all of us to continue to enjoy,” he said.
