Rich’s program has been going on for 10 years and with his practical methods and courageous message, he has reached more than one million people aiding them with the problem of cyber-bullying. While bullying has existed for eons, due to the anonymity of the internet, cyber bullying-a form of preying on othershas morphed into a huge, far-reaching issue. Unfortunately, it is an equal opportunity offender: From adults to kids. If left ignored and untreated, cyber bullying and harassment can quickly become a cycle of hopelessness, especially for young people. These can lead to issues ranging from low self-esteem, anxiety and depression. It can also lead to harmful behaviors, or even worse: Suicide! They say no one ever forgets on the internet, and it is true. Anything people post about

themselves or others, it is out there in virtual reality forever: There are no take-backs. Facebook, cellphones, texting, e-mails, social media, there is no denying that everyone now is so plugged in to this digital society, it is a prime form of communication. With whatever is put out there, people are always creating a digital footprint: No matter the information, everything can be followed, including the information adults post regarding their kids. During Rich’s

constructive and common sense program, folks will learn about cyberbullying, how to protect their loved ones from this widespread problem, as well as how to help. Warm and enthusiastic on helping those who are affected by cyber bullying, Rich discloses that the idea for the program was inspired by the cyber bullying of so many out there and the aftermaths they face. So what makes Rich’s program on cyber bullying dif-

ferent than all the others out there? “I put it all out there, “Rich claims. “The idea is to create a climate of education and promote empathy. This program is designed to empower our kids to make a difference in their lives, and also to educate and bridge the gap between youth and adults.” Dynamic in his desire to help, people seemed to have responded to Rich’s program in droves.
