By Josh Lashley uan Reina, Eric Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez and Isaac Pichardo, all graduates of Passaic County Technical Institute, were members of the Bloomfield College (NJ) baseball team this past season. Reina, a senior infielder, played in 41 games and started in 38 of them with a .270 batting average. Reina had 40 hits, including 10 doubles and two homeruns. He also had 19 RBIs and scored 21 runs. Pichardo, a senior outfielder, played in 24 games and started in 21 with a .254 batting average. He had 17 hits, including two
doubles, a triple and two homeruns. He also had 10 RBIs and scored 11 runs. Carlos Rodriguez, a sophomore pitcher, appeared in six games and started in two of them on the mound. He had a 1-0 pitching record with a 4.96 earned run average. He also struck out 14 batters. Eric Rodriguez, a freshman right handed pitcher and outfielder, appeared in seven games on the mound and had a 5.40 earned run average and struck out seven batters. Reina, Pichardo and Carlos Rodriguez are listed as accounting majors and Eric continued on page 2
