Club of Woodend

FEBRUARY 2016 VOLUME 20 / ISSUE 1

Celebrating Australia Day BBQ’s, freedom, fun and lamb chops were the essence of Australia Day. About 200 people turned out for the annual celebrations hosted by Woodend RSL. The day kicked off with the All Nations Flag March featuring local Scout & Guides, and a free community BBQ. A heartfelt Australia Day awards and citizenship ceremony was held at Kyneton Town Hall with family and friends packing the venue to welcome the newest citizens and celebrate our unsung heroes.
