SCI LAB @ NYPL: sensational science Animal Exploration! at 67th Street The Art Farm in the City hosts a series of workshops in which young naturalists can discover the world of amazing creatures through stories, hands-on activities, and up-close visits (frogs, birds, and maybe even a long-tailed lizard!). For ages 3 to 6 with a parent/caregiver. Limited to 30 participants.

There’s a brand-new teen center at the Hamilton Grange Library in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood of Manhattan! It’s got 30 computers and a media room that features a 102-inch plasma TV, Blue-ray DVD player, digital video projector, and more. The space— designed specifically for teens and reserved for their use at all times—also has tons of books, magazines, graphic novels, CDs, and DVDS. And there’s a big performance space with bleacher seating that’s perfect for TeenLIVE events and other programs.

The Hamilton Grange Teen Center is the first teen center in northern Manhattan. There are also teen centers at Bronx Library Center and Grand Concourse in the Bronx, Grand Central in Manhattan, and St. George Library Center in Staten Island. Check out the Hamilton Grange Teen Center—it’s the place to be!
